Four Pillars of Service

Joining together to support our community
Established in 2016, the Evening Exchange Club of Lake Norman, NC members provide hours of volunteering time to improve the local community.  Child abuse prevention, youth, community and Americanism are the four pillars of service for Exchange Clubs.  National Exchange was founded in 1911 and clubs like ours across America have impacted their communities, too.

We welcome new members and thank you for supporting our efforts!

Local Service Projects

 Our club focuses on community initiatives and children-centered projects, striving to uplift local children by fostering growth and empowerment for a brighter future.

Fundraisers & Scholarships

We are passionate about raising funds and donations to aid local children, families, and Veterans while also offering support for higher education through the annual $1,000 ACE Award scholarship.

Community

Our club gathers regularly, fostering a tight-knit community while making a positive impact through our shared dedication to service and building lasting friendships.

Pinwheels for Prevention Gardens

Month of april annually
CHILD ABUSE PREVENTION

Every April is dedicated to supporting child abuse prevention and raising awareness of this important need in communities.  Our club sets up pinwheel gardens around town in yards of our business partners.  Each pinwheel in a garden represents a child in NC that passed away a prior year from neglect.  The 2026 pinwheel gardens contained 31 pinwheels.

The color blue is also used to represent this important effort.  Each Monday in April is dedicated to wearing blue.  Join us by wearing your blue shirt and make a social media post to help spread awareness.

EXCHANGE COVENANT OF SERVICE

Accepting the divine privilege of single and collective responsibility as life’s noblest gift, I covenant with my fellow Exchangites:

To consecrate my best energies to the uplifting of Social, Religious, Political and Business ideals;

To discharge the debt I owe to those of high and low estate who have served and sacrificed that the heritage of American citizenship might be mine;

To honor and respect law, to serve my fellow men, and to uphold the ideals and institutions of my Country:

To implant the life-giving, society-building spirit of Service and Comradeship in my social and business relationships;

To serve in Unity with those seeking better conditions, better understandings, and greater opportunities for all.
